Workshop on Raptor Contaminant Monitoring Activities in Europe, Amsterdam, November 2012
This workshop will be celebrated between 28th and 30th November 2012 in the Institute for Environmental Studies, VU University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands). It will be dedicated to reviewing and completing the first-round results of the inventory of raptor contaminant monitoring activities in Europe within the context of Work Package 2. A limited number of invited participants from Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, The Netherlands, Norway and Sweden will participate on collating, analysing and reviewing the results of the questionnaire, and drafting outputs from the results of the inventory. A workshop report will be prepared to be disseminated via the Eurapmon website. The main outcome will also be included in a manuscript to be submitted to a scientific journal. Implications for assessment of user needs and development of a European database for raptor contaminant monitoring will be addressed. Further details will be provided in due course.
